1 Month Old!

Well...we're into a month now!  I feel like I've really gotten to know Kara...I can read her mind pretty well!  She is still a pretty easy baby - but, remember when I said I didn't even know what her cry sounded like? I do now...she has her fussy period each night, but other than one night, it doesn't last too long and she's off to sleep.

She sleeps 2 to 3 hour stretches, eats, and goes right back to sleep at night.  Next week we're going to start her in her crib (she co-sleeps for now) and hopefully get her to just one or two feedings only.  I have to go back to work in two weeks and will be needing my sleep. She weighs 10 pounds and is 21 inches long...exactly what Liam was at his 1 month check-up.

Kara smiles, coos occasionally, and can lift her head very independently!  She fits in to the family - it's like she was never not here!  We're pretty lucky!
